Overview

Halal Executive Training prepares the people who run halal compliance inside a company. Over 7 days, participants learn how to build and maintain the Halal Assurance System, lead the Internal Halal Committee (IHC), manage the Malaysia halal certification process and facilitate internal halal audits.

The halal market is no longer limited to food. It now covers pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, health products, toiletries, medical devices and services such as logistics, packaging, hospitality and retail. Companies in all of these areas need a competent Halal Executive who understands the methods, procedures and requirements of halal certification.

This programme is organised by Kolej Antarabangsa Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam (KADMDI), an institution recognised by the Halal Professional Board (HPB), with Al Barakah Training Solution as marketing partner.

Why Halal Executive Training matters

A Halal Executive is the person who keeps your halal controls working every day. This training gives you the technical, operational and Shariah knowledge to do that.

  1. Meet certification requirements – Malaysian halal certification frameworks, such as the Malaysia Manual Procedure for Halal Certification (MPPHM), expect qualified Halal Executives or competent personnel to manage internal halal controls. You learn to identify halal control points from raw material sourcing and storage through to production and logistics, and to set up internal audits, records and corrective actions before an external audit takes place.
  2. Protect halal integrity across the supply chain – You get practical guidance on hygiene (thoyyiban), sanitation and preventing contact between halal products and non-halal or impure (najs) materials.
  3. Lead the Internal Halal Committee – You learn to coordinate and lead the committee that oversees halal compliance in your organisation.

Certificates you receive

  • Certificate of Completion from Kolej Antarabangsa Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam (KADMDI).
  • Professional certificate from JAKIM.
